Karla Rose is from a small rural town just south of Hamilton in New Zealand a little island country at the bottom of the world.
Karla has been writing for as long as she can remember, crafting stories for the children she baby sat, roping co-workers, friends and family into reading her works in progress, and just generally creating worlds whenever she was able. After being encouraged by incredible author friends, she entered a writing competition created by ACFW, The Woodlands and had her short story The Great Storm featured with other winners in the Anthology Out of the Storm. Having The Great Storm published sparked a desire to have more of her works of fiction published and now she has published four full length romance novels, Second Chances, Prisoner, Trusted, and Wanted. Though she doesn't have a writing cave, or even an office, Karla does have a computer (and a smartphone) and you will often find her crafting and refining worlds, then telling you all about what happens to the people who live there. Karla is a passionate author, but she is also a Christ follow, wife to Paul, mother to Jacob, Isobel, a sassy cat named Lucy, and a miniature Schnauzer named Maisey, and finds a lot of joy in cooking, baking, feeding and caring for people. |
