So today's blog is at the request of Josh, who is my Hubby's best friend and the God parent of our children (along with his wife Carien).
He was possibly kidding when he wrote this suggestion: "blog about how much u miss our company and how ur gonna move back to this side of the kaimais cos te awamutu ruls and tga sucks..... we soooo lonely! !" But hey. I'm going to run with it!

Muahahaha
One of my best friends suggested that I wrote my blog about her. She thought I wouldn't do it. lol. She thought wrong. Happy Monday my Stelle, today is all about you! How many times have you had big dreams and let them fall to the way side because of a fear of failure.
You couldn't stand to waste time, money, energy or hope on something that could potentially fail. Even if you knew that you would love what ever it was if you did it. When I was younger I somehow got it in my head that being a stay at home mum or a house wife was... less than.
I don't know why I felt this way, but I had this belief that staying at home was what you did if you had no skills or. I don't know. We're lazy or something. And so I vowed that I would be a professional woman. As if that would be the only way my life would have value. I don't know when praise became something reserved for God alone.
Don't get me wrong here. A God who sacrifices his life. His pride. His creation. To ensure our salvation. Who gives up things just because we asked for them. Well a God like that. He deserves praise. So now that I've finally finished reading and researching Proverbs 31:10-31, I have to say that she still has a lot to answer for.
A woman like her deserves praise and praise in abundance. She has been critiqued, watched, moaned about, and had women jealous of her for the longest time. And still she holds herself with grace, and treats others, treats you and me with respect even when we don't treat her the same. I know for most people she is only a theoretical woman, but for me she is an example of who I can become. Who Christ tells me I can be. Who Christ says you can be. The final verse about the Proverbs woman (below) is again about a reward. Proof I think of a God who is extravagant in how he loves and rewards us.
The truth about this verse (below) I believe has nothing to do with beauty. Whether you are an international model or, well not, it doesn't matter.
I struggled to find any articles about Proverbs 31:28-29 (below) and I think there is a reason for this.
