If you know me. Or you have been following my blog you may be aware that I am on one of those slow progress weight loss journeys. I haven't blogged about it for a while so I thought today's blog was a good opportunity.

When I write 'pressure cooker life' I know that some of you are sitting there staring blankly at your computer screens, while others of you are nodding vigorously. You know exactly what I mean.
My Blog. Along with my fictional writing, and well... my head are much like the image below at the moment. Just a little lacking...
You may be wondering why I didn't blog on Friday. You may not have even noticed. You may not care. Either way I'm going to fill you in. I went away with my hubby and our friends Josh and Carien and we got to see Gabriel Iglesias (a.k.a Fluffy) perform. Needless to say it was epic!
The Quote below is from a young poet named Erin Hanson. At 19 she wrote "There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky, And you ask "What if I fall?" Oh but my darling, what if you fly?"
Despite her youth Erin has already picked up on something that many of us as adults still haven't learned. So. There are 15 weeks till the end of the year. Why do I bring this up? No reason really except I think 15 is a nice round number.
Its a nice number for a challenge. A mail challenge. Want to know more? Then keep reading... Feeling really rather pleased with a little show called Doc McStuffins. Why? Cause it just made a trip to the Doctors SO easy!
The other day I found myself behaving like my kids when they're in a bad mood. God (that guy who knows what is best for me) was telling me that Tauranga was where he wants me to be. This was important cause I was in one of my I want to go 'home' moods. Which basically means I was stamping my feet screaming at God 'but I don't wanna stay in Tauranga, take me home!'
So often we advocate getting out and lending a helping hand. And you know what? Helping is good. It's really good in fact. The only problem is, sometimes we are so busy helping others and doing everything for ourselves that we don't allow other people to help us.
So I know I'm taking this rather slowly but still we are getting there. we are finally finishing chapter 1 with verses 12 to 17 today.
