We are all up and dressed before 10am. It's a School Holidays miracle. As such it is likely we will not leave the house.
We have had our first accident. Of all the days to have an accident Day Two was as good a day as any. There was screaming. Crying. A multitude of apologies from a little boy who knew he had been in the wrong. There were also plenty of tears from Isobel who now has some rather impressive bruising up the inside of her arms. That's what happens when your brother pushes you off the tramp.
I slept in till almost 7am today. The house is still standing. Once again my partner in crime made an early escape. I'm unsure how the lounge is still tidy, the kids have been up for a while.
It was a wet and windy morning, the sky was still dark, and yet down the hall there was movement...
So I went to write up something incredibly impacting and, I don't know, profound, about Sistas. Yeah... I'll admit it. I drew a blank. The fact was that Sistas was great. I took notes like you wouldn't believe. The speakers were wonderful. The conference itself had my creative juices flowing, and ideas for my own future in conference organization abound. You have no idea how many notes I took on creative marketing. Anyway, there were plenty of jems to take away from conference but one sermon I keep coming back to is to 'set her up to win', so I'm going to share that one with you.
